Running time

1h

Two simple people (an old lady and an old man, as the story says), tormented by loneliness, decide to take in as a child the first being that appears in their way. Then, the fate brings the old man a piglet. Of course, not any kind of piglet - a charmed one, capable of great deeds.

A Pig's Story is the performance that marks the return of Mircea Cornișteanu, a well-known Romanian director, to Ion Creangă Theatre. Inspired by the childhood stories and the ways in which these are changing from one generation to the next, Mircea Cornișteanu staged a fairytale that allows magic to infiltrate reality and to transform it.
